A 200-HOUR YOGA ALLIANCE CERTIFIED TRAINING BFREE YOGA AUSTIN, TX 

This program conveniently scheduled on weekends and evenings. Each day will include at least one asana practice.

Leah Cullis

Leah Cullis | Yoga Journal

Leah Cullis is a celebrated yoga teacher, holistic health coach, and author of the internationally published book Power Yoga: Strength Sweat, and Spirit

She synthesizes ancient practices and principles of yoga and wellness, and makes them accessible and relevant for life today. Her classes are a beautiful blend of strength, surrender and celebration. 

Leah has been featured on the cover of Yoga Journal Magazine, and created the Yoga Journal online course Pillars of Power Yoga.

She led Yoga at the White House from 2009 through 2016 as part of a presidential initiative encouraging healthy and active living among children and families, sharing yoga with more than 30,000 participants each year. 

Her greatest honor is being a mama. Leah lives and teaches in beautiful Austin, TX, where she leads teacher training and classes.

Shelby Autrey

Shelby commits to living her life through the lens of yoga to learn, grow, share, and thrive daily. To cultivate the same in more human-beings, she opened BFREE YOGA in 2011 after having only taught 11 yoga classes -- talk about living your purpose! Since she’s lead several 200-hour teacher training programs, adventured retreats across the world and brought her unique teaching style to festivals and community classes alike. She says she inspired by “the inevitable joy and freedom that comes from creative alignment-based sequencing, and the pilgrimage through the meditative practices of yoga” to know herself more fully. Her teachers are Gioconda Parker and Christina Sell.

Iva Drtina-Hall

Iva completed her Yoga Arts Teacher Training in 2002 in Byron Bay, Australia and is certified under Yoga Alliance. She continues her own education in Ayurveda, the ancient healing of India and incorporates wellness tips in her classes. Iva has studied under great Yin teachers such as Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers, and Bernie Clarke. Iva has developed her own Yin Intensive training, teaching students and yoga teachers how to practice and teach Yin Yoga. Iva hosts retreats and workshops internationally as well as facilitating on teacher training programs in Austin, Hawaii, India, and Japan.

CONTRIBUTING TEACHER | SANSKRIT & PHILOSOPHY

Mary Richardson

Mary began practicing Ashtanga Yoga in 2000. Over the years she deepened her training by studying with knowledgeable teachers from very diverse traditions, eventually formally studying Sanskrit and Yoga Philosophy at UT of Austin. She continued to study such texts as the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita with Professor Stephen Phillips for years after leaving UT.

Now with 19 years of practice and over 6,000 teaching hours, Mary effortlessly blends a reverence for the ancient traditions of yoga with a carefree and playful spirit that will leave you laughing along with the levity of the moment.
